مايهمنا هو  تفعيل هذه الاتفاقية بنشرها وتثقيف  الناس بها وكسب المناصرة والتأييد   والعمل على تفعيلها والعمل بها ..

هنيئا للشعب الكويتي وللدولة بهذا الإنجاز وما يهمنا هو فعالية الأخوة النشطين الذين عملوا ويعملون جاهدين في هذا المجال. إن التحفظ على مواد معينة مرهون بمتابعة الضغط والعمل الدؤوت. ومن هنا من المفيد جدا أن نستحدث منظومة رصد عربية متماسكةة ومنظمة من أجل متابعة تطبيق الإتفاقية الدولية وأهم مهمات تلك المنظومة هو تعزيز دور الأشخاص المعوقين وأسرهم  وجمعياتهم عبر بناء قدراتهم لإستثمار مكتسبات الإتفاقية. إذ لا يهم إقتناء سيارة مهما بلغت كلفتها بل المهم التعرف على طريقة قيادتها وتوجيهها بما يستجيب لإهتمامات الأشخاص المعوقين وأسرهم "لا شيئ يخصنا من دوننا NOTHING ABOUT US WITHOUT US "

Kuwait

Reservations:

       Subject to reservations concerning the provisions of article 18, subparagraph 1(a), and article 23, paragraph 2.

Interpretative declarations:

       – Article 12, paragraph 2: The enjoyment of legal capacity shall be subject to the conditions applicable under Kuwaiti law.

       – Article 19, paragraph (a): This paragraph shall not be interpreted to permit illicit relations outside legitimate marriage.

       – Article 25, paragraph (a): The care in question shall not imply recognition of illicit relations outside legitimate marriage.

بقي الآن خمس دول عربية لم تنضم للإتفاقية الدولية وهي

1. جمهورية الصومال
2. دولة فلسطين
3. جمهورية القمر المتحدة
4. جمهورية لبنان
5. ليبيا
   

نأمل أن تصادق جميع الدول العربية على الإتفاقية الدولية والبروتوكول الإختياري
وللجميع أطيب وأحلى الأمنيات
