بالتعاون بين وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية في سلطنة عمان والتأهيل الدولي -الإقليم العربي وبرعاية معالي الشيخ /محمد بن سعيد بن سيف الكلباني وزير التنمية الاجتماعية عقدت في مسقط حلقة للتدريب على تطبيق الاتفاقية الدولية لحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة , تناولت المادة التاسعة من الاتفاقية المتعلقة بتسهيلات الوصول للأشخاص ذوي الاعاقة .
شارك في الحلقة حوالي 60 متدربة ومتدرب من السلطنة وعشر دول عربية, وصدر عن المشاركين التوصيات التالية:
1- توجيه الشكر إلى سلطنة عمان ممثلة بمعالي الشيخ وزير التنمية الاجتماعية على كرم الضيافة وحسن التعاون والتنظيم.
2- مطالبة وسائل الإعلام لتخصيص مساحة لنشر وتعميم ثقافة الإعاقة في الدول العربية.
3- تكثيف الدورات المتخصصة للتدريب على تطبيق الاتفاقية الدولية لحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
4- تشكيل مجموعات عمل عربية لمراقبة تنفيذ الاتفاقية.
5- التدريب المهني للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة ليصبحوا قادرين على الانتاج، وإفساح المجال لهم للعمل في المؤسسات الحكومية والخاصة.
6- إعطاء حوافز للشركات والمؤسسات الخاصة لتشجيعها على تكييف مرافقها لتسهيل توظيف الاشخاص من ذوي الإعاقة.
7- استحداث أو تعديل الأنظمة والقوانين والتشريعات الوطنية لتتوافق مع ما نصّت عليه الاتفاقية الدولية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
8- حث الدول العربية التي لم تصدّق بعد على الإسراع في تصديق الاتفاقية وبروتكول الاختياري التابع لها.
9- إشراك الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في برامج وخطط التنمية الوطنية وإتاحة الفرص لهم في التنفيذ.
10- حث الدول على إدراج مبدأ التصميم الشامل في برامج المدارس والكليات والمؤسسات العامة والخاصة ,وذلك من خلال تشكيل فريق عمل فني لوضع المواصفات والمعايير اللازمة.
11- مطالبة الجهات المعنية بإلزامية تطبيق شروط تسهيلات وصول الأشخاص ذوي الاعاقة إلى جميع المرافق والمباني كشرط أساسي لإعطاء التراخيص اللازمة ،ومتابعة تنفيذها.
12- العمل على اعداد دليل استرشادي عربي بالمواصفات والمعايير الهندسية الخاصة بالأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

Dear Members of the Global Telecentre Community,
The BYND 2015: Global Youth Summit will take place on September 9-11 in Costa Rica. The summit will assemble young people from all corners of the globe with a view to highlighting their priorities and capturing their combined voices in crucial national and international policy and decision making processes and we, the telecentre global community, have been invited to support the online participation, and in this way, expand the reach and participation of young people from around the globe.
The BYND 2015: Global Youth Summit is a very important event for Telecentre.org Foundation (TCF). Let's all remember that many telecentres are run by young people and that the youth behind our telecentres are shaping the lives of millions of people in every country of this planet every single day. We have a lot to say and share at the BYND 2015 Summit.
As telecentres, part of our mission is to bring and facilitate access to relevant information, and new opportunities for the communities we serve. That's exactly why TCF is currently working with a selected group of telecentres from around the globe in order to secure specific contributions of our community on a number of areas and work sessions included in the summit.
By doing this, the voice of those youth that regularly use telecentres will be heard at the summit. However, we believe that all telecentres should do what they can to promote and bring the information on the ITU Youth Summit to their youths. To facilitate this process, TCF and ITU have put together a guide that describes how you and your telecentre could be part of this important global event.
We'd like to invite you to join BYND 2015 and learn how you can follow, contribute and even host some of the remote activities developed to support the online participation. Please follow the steps include in this guide, and make sure you become an active follower of #BYND2015 in Twitter, and more importantly, follow the regular updates that we will be posting in our community sites and TCF's social media accounts.
Make a difference! Help us bring the telecentre community to join forces in promoting and expanding the online participation of youths in your country. Please review the summit agenda, and familiarize yourselves with the program. Invite your users to submit ideas and initiate local discussions with friends and community in the ITU ideas platform. You can transform your telecentre into a vibrant Youth Summit hub, and in this way connect your community with many millions of young people that are looking for innovative ways to collaborate and build a better tomorrow.
