Dear members, supporters and friends,
As many of you will know, Down Syndrome International (DSi) has a network of members made up of people with Down syndrome, parents, family members and friends, carers, professionals, practitioners, researchers, organisations and people who are just interested in Down syndrome, from all over the world.
We offer membership to national representative Down syndrome organisations and other organisations who want to affiliate to DSi. But we also offer membership to individuals around the world who want to join us to represent people with Down syndrome with a single global voice through their endorsement, their input and their feedback.
All new members who join our growing international community can also:
· access information, support and resources through the DSi International Office, website, publications, expert panels and World Down Syndrome Congress;
· become a part of "Reach Out", our outreach training programmes in developing countries where our support is desperately needed;
· help us to raise awareness by promoting World Down Syndrome Day on 21 March every year through various global initiatives.
If you have Down syndrome you can join DSi and have your say. We are here to represent you and we want to work to improve your quality of life and promote your inherent right to be accepted and included as valued and equal members of your communities.
Annual subscription prices for membership are as follows:
Persons with Down syndrome (18 years or over) - Free lifetime membership
Other individuals - £10
If you have limited financial means, discounted or free membership may be available, subject to DSi Board approval. Contact us to find out more.
