Dear All Hope you find these opportunities useful Regards   Ghassan       Grant opportunity: Round 8 of the Deaf Child Worldwide's Small Grant Programme is now accepting applications for 1-3 year projects which clearly demonstrate improvements in the lives of Deaf children and their families in selected developing countries. Deaf Child Worldwide supports organizations helping Deaf children overcome barriers and projects must meet at least one of Deaf Child's aims as listed on their website. Scholarship: The Deaf Empowerment Foundation is offering scholarships to Deaf students of all nationalities for the 2009/2010 school year in the Applied Sign Language Studies program. This is a new 4-year BA program which will be taught at the Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi, India. Scholarships cover tuition fees for one year of full-time study, in courses focusing on English literacy and other skills.
