Greetings from CBM.

 

Please be informed that the WHO has confirmed the dates for the launch of the CBR guidelines in Arabic. The launch will take place on 08.-10.04.2014 in Amman, Jordan.

 

We will get back to you with the agenda as soon as it gets confirmed.

Please share the information among your network with relevant organizations and rights holders.

 

Our recommendation on participants would be as follows:

 

-          partners implementing CBR

-          need for people who have mid level (CBR management or coordination) roles as most important.  Not recommended to have staff members who are further up the chain of command and are not really involved in the CBR work, nor staff members who do not have the decision making power to bring the information and learnings from the launch into the functioning of CBR work.

-          DPOs involved in the implementation as either partners or as part of decision making, then it would be excellent to ensure that they are represented as well

-          people with disabilities a key consideration for selection of participants
