The UNIVERSAL LEARNING DESIGN 2012 conference in Linz will present another opportunity to share experience with professionals who take care of the practical matters and thus technologically, organizationally, legally, linguistically, psychologically or pedagogically provide for the universal learning design at universities and, due to the inclusion into the organizational frame of ICCHP, also with developers and distributors of technologies necessary for meeting this goal. We are looking forward to meeting you in Linz. Research results proposed for the ULD track will be reviewed together with other papers submitted for ICCHP, in order to be published in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (ICCHP Proceedings). Authors can select this option during the submission process. Presentations proposed by providers of services, companies or counselors wishing to contribute to the ULD track with their good practice or experience concerning universal design for learning will be reviewed by the ULD programme committee and will be then published in an independent volume of ULD Proceedings published by Masaryk University. It is also possible to organize a hands-on workshop either following a presentation or as an independent session. In addition, we welcome presentations of researchers, organisations and interest groups in the form of a presentation stand or poster.
