بالنسبة للاتحاد العربي للهيئات العاملة مع الصم فلم يردنا أي اعلان عن شعار أسبوع الأصم الواحد والثلاثون. وإذا وردنا أي خبر فسننشره ونعلنه للجميع
وبالنسبة للاتحاد العالمي للصم فشعار أسبوع الأصم لعام ٢٠١١ م هو التركيز على تعليم الأطفال الصم لأنه وبرغم الاهتمام المتزايد بالصم إلا أن تعليم الصم لا زال حتى هذه اللحظةمتدنياً لعدم تأهيل وتدريب معلمي ومعلمات الصم على لغة الإشارة المحلية. والحث على تفعيل قرارات وتوصيات المؤتمر العالمي الواحد والعشرون لتعليم الصم والذي أقيم في فانكوفر في يوليو ٢٠١٠ م. والتي تنص على حق الأطفال الصم بتلقي تعليمهم بلغتهم المؤشرة القومية وباستخدام ثنائية اللغة/ثنائية الثقافة.

أود السؤال إن كان هناك شعار معين لأسبوع الأصم هذا العام
وإن لم يكن
فأود سؤال الصم والعاملين معهم إن كان هناك قضية مهمة رئيسية لهذا العام ليتم التركيز عليها واقتراحها كشعار
